Mike has over 25 years of banking experience. For the past 11 years, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of a federal savings bank in Scottsdale, Arizona. Prior to that, he spent 12 years as Chief Financial Officer of the same financial institution. Mike has a broad background in community banking. He has been involved in the organization of a new institution, as well as overseeing branch expansion and growing the bank through the acquisition of another institution.
Mike graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Accountancy and is a Certified Public Accountant. He serves as the President of the Board of Directors for Community Housing Resources of Arizona; a non-profit organization which helps low income families achieve their dream of homeownership. Mike has also served as a board member of the Arizona Bankers Association.
Mike and his wife, Tanya, have been married for 27 years and have two children. They enjoy attending their children's athletic events and taking in the scenery from the numerous hiking trails in the metro Phoenix area.
