Rich Adams is President and CEO of Southwest Business Credit Services, a firm specializing in business credit information, professional education and commercial debt collection. Prior to joining this business in 1992, Rich served as Director of Credit for the O'Malley Companies and Corporate Credit Manager for Ponderosa Lumber/True Value Homes.
Rich is a graduate of Valley Leadership and a Certified Association Executive (CAE). An active member of the community. Rich is a member of the City of Mesa Economic Development Advisory Board, past Chairman of the City of Mesa Planning & Zoning Board and Member of the Rotary Club of Phoenix, Club 100. He is active with Troop 653, Boy Scouts of America as an adult leader. Rich has served on the Governor's Economic Security Advisory Council, as Commissioner of the Arizona Plumbing Code Commission, and as Chairman of the Board of Arizona Special Olympics. A longtime member of the City of Mesa Museum & Cultural Advisory Board, Rich was Chairman from 1997-99.
Rich has three adult children, Kacey, Shawna and Richard III, as well as 3 grandchildren. He enjoys backpacking, snow skiing, carpentry and remodeling, and winter weekends at the Imperial Sand Dunes.
